Friday night pizza and Noatmeal

I have been experimenting trying to find a primal pizza recipe. So far no luck with one that I like. The other day I decided to get some mini Flat outs...they do have carbs and wheat but its low carb and every once in a while won't be to bad right???... Like I've said I try to be as primal as I can and in podunk IL it is hard to find the right stuff. Now lets get back on track, I used a flat out and topped it with homemade pizza sauce, sausage, bacon, and mozzarella cheese. It was delish and soooo much healthier than other pizza.
I also got coconut milk to make the oatmeal  the other day and it was even more yummy with the coconut milk. This time I made 8 servings.
Ingredients:
8oz bag of Walnuts
1C Dates
2 Apples
1T cinnamon
2C almond milk
1T coconut butter (or oil if you prefer)
1 14oz can Coconut milk (supposed to be full fat, of course don't have it here)

Cut apples into small cubes. Add Coconut butter and apples into a pan and cook 5 mins. Add walnuts and dates in food processor and grind. Add walnut mixture and cinnamon to apples. Cook 1 min. Add almond milk and coconut milk and cook 25 min on low heat.

This made 6 cups for me so each serving is 3/4C (I'm not sure how thick it is going to get after being in the fridge. The last one thickened up a lot)

I'll leave you with a few pictures :)

PS. I can't wait to get my Bodybugg Tuesday!!

Have a healthy weekend.
