40!!

I am horrible with this blogging thing! hah... Last week I hit my 40lbs lost. YAY. Slowly but sherly I will reach my goals. I have set a second goal of 37lbs by Dec 1st.

I have been trying to work out at least once a day even if its just walking for a couple miles. My biggest thing is getting in enough calories! I think I am the only person that has this problem. I try to get at least 1000 cal/ day but if I can get 1500 it'll help with my weight lose. I don't want to eat unhealthy just to get in enough calories and I am not starving or feeling hungry. The dietician always asks me about that and honestly I fell like I am stuffing myself trying to get in 1000 :/ It's definitely frustrating but I am going to keep trying!!

It wasn't until recently that I started counting calories because the dietician kept telling me just eat three meals a day and a snack or two if you're feeling hungry. So I did that and recently I got frustrated and started counting calories on my own because I knew I wasn't getting many in and sure enough most days it was 700-800. I talked to the dr about it and he put in a note for her to talk to me about the amount of calories/ day so I asked her about it at my appointment. hah She didn't seem to happy about the things I'd talked to the doctor about but we are frustrated with her lack of help. So anyway the last appointment went better and we got the info we have been wanting.

My goals for this coming up week:
Getting in at least 1300 cal/day
Working out twice a day, one work out video and then a walk/run

Here are my pictures from 5/19/2010 and 40lb loss on 8/18/2011... IK I still have a long way to go but I didn't realize how much different I looked until my DH made me take these pics and I compared them.
PS don't pay attention to the outfit I know it's not the best and DH made me where the same clothes for the new pics. hah They definitely fit different from the pics last year :)
